Safeguarding
We believe that protecting children is based upon building positive relationships and encouraging and supporting children to value themselves.

Protecting, Empowering & Supporting Every Child
Staff are aware of the responsibilities of professional colleagues including social workers, Independent Reviewing Officers (IROs) and Local Authority Designated Officers (LADOs) and the Police to work together to safeguard a child.
Once a child moves into their home with us, a risk assessment and support plan will be developed. Our assessments are not just holistic but an ongoing process reviewing and responding to the needs of the child. Where needed safety plans will also be developed and built into the child’s care.
We will support our children in developing their skills in keeping safe, building their self-esteem and making informed and positive choices.
We focus on ensuring our staff are comprehensively trained in all areas of safeguarding so we can provide early and preventive work.
